Fees
At Elizabeth Scott we believe in being open and honest in everything we do and that includes our fee structure.
Ask a traditional high street agent what their fee is for selling or letting a property and you will rarely get a straight answer. They will usually avoid discussing fees over the phone and insist they come and see you in person. After all, agents are professional negotiators and generally stand a better chance of securing a higher fee if they discuss it face to face. Sometimes it's left up to you to negotiate and many people are not comfortable with this.
Our services and fees are centred on giving you the same professional services of traditional estate agents.
Sales
Our fee for selling your property is 1% of the sale price plus VAT payable on completion. We do not ask for any payment up front, like many online agents and if we don’t sell your property you pay us nothing.
Lettings
Our lettings service includes:
- Free marketing to our database of corporate and private tenants
- To let board
- Coverage on our preferred property portals (including findaproperty and primelocation)
- Referencing - all tenants are fully referenced (Bank, employment, previous Landlords and criminal & other databases)
- Floor plans
Tenant Finding Fees
The fees we charge are 8% + VAT and we conduct all viewings. There is no fee if there is no tenant.
Rent collection
We charge 2.5% for rent collection
